Veteran RSS activist Suresh Bajpayee passed away on Tuesday, said RSS sources. He was 79.
According to the sources, Bajpayee, a former principal of Bhagat Singh College, had been general secretary of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh's Delhi unit for a decade from mid 1990s.
His total association with the RSS spanned across five decades.
He was not keeping good health for some time.
The last rites will be performed on Wednesday.
