New Delhi:
To the delight of fans and particularly Varun Dhawan, Salman Khan has finally joined Team
Judwaa 2. The 51-year-old superstar
features in a cameo in the David Dhawan-directed sequel. For the uninitiated, it was Salman who featured as the
judwaa bhai s in the 1997 cult comedy
Judwaa, also helmed by Varun's filmmaker father. The film's team, comprising Varun, Jacqueline Fernandez, Taapsee Pannu, the director and cinematographer Ayananka Bose, welcomed the
bhaijaan on board, glimpses of which are on social media. "#judwaa2 just got bigger. Shot with my childhood hero @beingsalmankhan. I've grown old but he's definitely the same," Varun Instagrammed while sharing a photo with Salman. The superstar also made a contribution of his own.
Meanwhile, Jacqueline Instagrammed a video from what appears to be a photo op with Salman, saying: "A picture may say a thousand words but I wouldn't be able to upload enough to describe today! Around my favourite people who've been with me and supported me in my Bollywood journey since day 1! @beingsalmankhan @nadiadwalagrandson #daviddhawan @varundvn @kamera002 @taapsee thanks for being an awesome co-star to work with!! @beingsalmankhan thanks for making our film so much more special today! Will always cherish these #judwaa2 memories." Taapsee added one more memory to the album: "And it happened! Done with my talkie portion for Judwaa 2," she wrote.
Taapsee and Jacqueline will feature in the roles originally played by Karisma Kapoor and Rambha.

The details of Salman Khan's cameo in
Judwaa 2 were revealed earlier, with a source telling
mid-day: "Salman will appear as both, Raja and Prem, his twin characters from the film who have aged by 20 years. His judwaa will come face-to-face with Varun's double role, possibly bantering in the climax scene." We are looking forward to it.
Meanwhile, Salman Khan will also reportedly feature in a song in Shah Rukh Khan's film with Aanand L Rai, for which he's recently spotted on teh sets of the film.
Tubelight was Salman Khan's Eid offering and the actor is expected to resume his schedule for
Tiger Zinda Hai, his next film with Katrina Kaif.
