Samajwadi Party to hold a three-day national convention in Lucknow.

Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav was today elected as the party president for the ninth consecutive term on the opening day of its three-day national convention in Lucknow.
More than 10,000, delegates attended the ninth national convention which also marks 22 years of the party's formation.
The party is expected to table some political and economic resolutions against the Narendra Modi government at the Centre on issues such as price rise and border aggression. Also on the agenda are issues such as Love Jihad.
