Samajwadi Party to hold state executive meeting today
Lucknow: With an eye on the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, the Samajwadi Party will hold its state executive meeting today. 150 members of the state executive will meet to give its feedback on the reports filed by its 58 election observers. These observers were given the task to identify candidates for the Lok Sabha polls.

Like the 2012 state assembly elections, Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav is reportedly keen on the early announcement of candidates 2014 polls.

This meeting also comes soon after Mr Yadav openly expressed his dissatisfaction with the performance of his son Akhilesh's government in Uttar Pradesh. Mr Yadav had given indications of cabinet reshuffle if the ministers did not meet the expectations of the common man.

After the warning, Akhilesh Yadav has now decided to meet party workers on every Wednesday at the Chief Minister's official residence here at Kalidas Marg between 10 am and 12 pm for better functioning of his government in Uttar Pradesh. (Read)
