Reacting to RSS's stand to protect north Indian in Mumbai, Shiv Sena leader Manohar Joshi said north Indians will have to live as Maharashtrians in the state.
"We will take care of north Indians. No one from outside has to come", he added.
Condemning the so-called discriminatory behaviour meted out to migrants in Maharashtra, especially the Hindi-speaking ones, the RSS had said it will protect migrants from being targeted. (Watch: Will check anti-migrant wave in Maharashtra: RSS)
"The Sangh Parivar has asked its volunteers in Maharashtra to try and prevent the spread of anti-north Indian and anti-Hindi feelings," said RSS spokesperson Ram Madhav.
