Kolkata: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee today refused to comment on the bail granted to her ministerial colleague and Saradha scam accused Madan Mitra, saying it was a matter concerning the court.
"See, this is a matter concerning the court. I don't want to comment on it," Ms Banerjee said before leaving for a trip to north Bengal.
State Sports and Transport Minister Mitra, arrested by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on December 12 last year for his alleged complicity in the Saradha scam, was on Saturday granted bail by a city court.
