Puttaparthi: There is a slight improvement in the overall health condition of Satya Sai Baba who has been undergoing treatment for multi-organ dysfunction, doctors attending on him said on Saturday.
"Sri Satya Sai Baba continues to be stable and there is a slight improvement in the overall condition of his health. He continues to be on the ventilator and periodic slow hemodialysis. The functions of the kidneys and lungs are also showing improvement," a health bulletin issued this evening by A N Safaya, Director of Sri Satya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences here, said.
"He is responding satisfactorily to the treatment being given to him by the panel of doctors," it said.
Doctors treating him have said he is suffering from multi-organ dysfunction and that he is responding well to the treatment.
A group of devotees conducted bhajans throughout the day near Prasanthi Nilayam, the abode of the godman, for his good health.
