Patna:
Security was further strengthened around the official residence of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Thursday.
"Security measures have been further tightened around the official bungalow of the chief minister," a senior official told PTI while declining to give further details.
The decision came following reports that Maoists had eliminated one of the four policemen kidnapped by them during Sunday's encounter in Lakhisarai district following expiry of
the deadline for freeing them in return for the release of eight jailed Maoists. (
