13 countries have agreed to be 'partner countries' for the Vibrant Gujarat Summit.

A special seminar on Goods and Services Tax (GST) may be organised as a part of Vibrant Gujarat Global Investors' Summit, state government said today.
This was discussed at the meeting of the advisory committee of the 8th edition of the Summit, chaired by Chief Minister Vijay Rupani, a press release said.
The advisory committee also discussed invitation to Nobel prize winners whose research work has contributed to the industry to the Summit.
This is the first time that Nobel prize winners will be invited for a seminar here on Junary 9, 2017, the release said, though it did not mention who were the invitees.
Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) will be the special focus of the Summit which will be held between January 10 and January 13 in the state capital Gandhinagar.
