Two media houses have come under attack from Saffron activists in the last 24 hours. Eight people, including a Shiv Sena MLA, have now been arrested for this attack on the Zee News office in Kolhapur.
Forty Shiv Sena workers barged into the Zee news office as the channel was having a discussion on the controversial Belgaum issue and attacked a Kannada leader.
The Shiv Sena insists that Marathi speaking parts of Belgaum should belong to Maharashtra and not Karnataka.
On Friday, RSS workers also stormed into the Headlines Today office in New Delhi and wreaked havoc after the channel aired an investigative report on some RSS leaders and their terror links. (Read: RSS workers attack TV channel's office in Delhi)
