"He has been threatened in the past too. He was hit with multiple bullets. Passed away instantly. His body was brought to Police Control Room hospital. There were no attack on journalists for a pretty long time. This has come as a big shock, journalists working in tough conditions. I was targeted years ago, in office. They were waiting to kill him, they weren't warning shots. He had fixed his time according to Iftaar, terrorists fired at him with an aim to kill him. Nobody knows when journalist might be attacked," says NDTV's Zaffar Iqbal.
