Lucknow:
An IAS officer has been arrested by the Railway Police in Lucknow for allegedly molesting a woman.
The arrested bureaucrat, Shashi Bhushan, is currently the Special Secretary to the Uttar Pradesh government. He has been booked for outraging the modesty of a woman.
According to the police, Mr Bhushan and the victim were travelling together in the Lucknow Mail from Delhi to Lucknow when the incident happened.
The victim made a complaint with the Govt Railway Police (GRP) when the train reached Lucknow that Mr Bhushan touched her. The police has sent Mr Bhushan for medical examination.
