Seven people killed in landmine blast by suspected Naxals in Bihar: Police

Patna: Seven people were killed today in a landmine blast by suspected Naxals in Obara area Bihar's Aurangabad district, police said. The incident took place about 50 km from district headquarters, at a small bridge.

According to the police, Sushil Pandey, the husband of Aurangabad district council member, was among those killed in the blast.

The police suspect that Mr Pandey was on the hitlist of the Naxals. They are investigating the case.
