Sex misconduct allegations erupt against hockey officials

New Delhi: An ugly scandal has broken out in the Indian women's hockey after a member of the team sent in a written complaint of sexual harassment against national coach MK Kaushik.

The player has now been called by Hockey India officials for further investigation.

In an unrelated development, the video analyst of the team Mr Basavaraja, has been suspended. That after an anonymous person sent Hockey India photos of Basavaraja with a prostitute.

The pictures were reportedly taken during the team's recent trip to China.

An immediate inquiry into both matters has been reported since the women's team is due to leave in two days time for the Asia Cup and the World Cup.
