Mumbai:
Actor Shah Rukh Khan's security has been increased by the Mumbai Police after gunmen fired at the home of his close associate, producer Karim Morani.
The Times of India reports that Mr Morani had been threatened by an underworld don who wants the international distribution rights to a new Shah Rukh Khan movie.

Other media reports identify the don who allegedly threatened Mr Morani is Ravi Pujari. Three shots were fired at the Morani residence in Juhu on Saturday. DNA states, "Morani had reportedly ignored a call from Pujari hours before the assailants opened fire. The police have provided a security cover at Morani's residence after the incident."
