On the first day of his visit to India, Apple CEO visited Siddhivinayak temple in Mumbai.
Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan will host a dinner in honour of Apple CEO Tim Cook today at his residence 'Mannat'. Celebrities, including actor-producer Aamir Khan, will be among the star attendees.
A source told IANS that the details of Cook's visit to Shah Rukh's house were kept hush-hush, and that "it is a very private gathering".
Shah Rukh is one of Bollywood's top-rated actors, and is a producer who strongly believes in bringing new-age technology to Indian cinema via his movies -- a case in point being "Ra.One" and "Fan". So, one can expect some interesting conversation between SRK and Cook.
Apart from Aamir Khan, the gathering will also see a few businessmen joining in.
Cook is in India on his first official visit to the country.
On Wednesday, he announced that the tech giant would establish a Design and Development Accelerator facility in Bengaluru, the home of India's startup scene.
He also took out time to visit the Shree Siddhivinayak temple in Mumbai. He will also meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday during his Delhi visit.
