Shehla Masood murder case: CBI recovers revolver, bike used in crime
Bhopal: Officials of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), investigating the murder of Right to Information (RTI) activist Shehla Masood, today recovered the home-made revolver and the motorbike believed to have been used in the crime, sources said.

The seizures were made from the house of a criminal in the city.

Acting on the information made available by Kanpur-based shooter Tabish, who was arrested recently in this case, CBI officials went to the house of Shaqib 'Danger', who has also been arrested by CBI, and recovered the two items.

Sources in the CBI have said that the revolver will be sent for forensic tests.

Ms Masood was shot dead outside her house on August 16 last year, as she was about to leave to attend a programme in support of Anna Hazare's fast for a strong Lokpal law.

So far five people including interior designer Zahida Parvez, her friend Saba Farooqui, Shaqib, shooter Irfan and Tabish have been arrested.

Local BJP legislator Dhruv Narayan Singh has been quizzed several times by agency officials for his alleged relations with Zahida, and Saba. He has also undergone lie-detector test in CBI's Delhi office.
