Sheila Dikshit Says No One Has Asked Her To Lead UP Campaign: Highlights

New Delhi: Former Delhi chief minister Sheila Dikshit speaks to NDTV about her role in Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections.

• Nobody has offered me the Chief Minister's post for Uttar Pradesh elections: Sheila Dikshit.
• I do meet Ghulam Nabi Azad. There are certain things which I will not disclose.
• My being a bahu of UP does not change. I was born in Punjab that does not change. I was educated in Delhi that does not change.
• I am merely saying I will abide by what I am asked to do.
• Prashant Kishor is someone who is helping the party.
• I will do what the party high command asks me to do.
• Nobody has made this offer (to lead the Uttar Pradesh campaign). I met Sonia Gandhi about something else, no one mentioned it to me.
• Nobody in Congress is a scapegoat. We are all responsible. We have a leader and we follow the leader.
• Nobody has asked me to be Uttar Pradesh's chief ministerial candidate, will abide by party decision.
