New Delhi: A Delhi court on Thursday reserved its order on Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit's plea seeking issuance of summons against Bharatiya Janata Party leader Vijender Gupta in a defamation case.
Metropolitan Magistrate Saumya Chauhan put up the matter for order on June 4 after Mrs Dikshit's counsel Mehmood Pracha concluded his argument.
Mr Pracha told the court that Mr Gupta has neither responded to the legal notice served upon him nor has he apologised for his remarks. Instead, he reiterated the derogatory words against Mrs Dikshit, the counsel said.
Mrs Dikshit filed the case against Mr Gupta for allegedly using "uncivilised" language in hoardings put up prior to last month's civic polls.
