Kashmir Valley:
There was more anger in the Kashmir valley after the police registered a case of rape in connection with the death of two women in Shopian.
Separatists have called for a protest march to Shopian on Monday. But NDTV now has exclusive access to the postmortem or autopsy report which could turn the case on its head.
The report says doctors could not complete the autopsy because of the hostile atmosphere and goes on to say that several aspects remain unexplored.
The report also says that the doctors could not reach any definite conclusion.
According to the report, neurogetic shock could be a possible cause of Niloufer's death. And haemorrhage followed by cardio vascular arrest was the possible cause of Asiya's death.
Curfew like restrictions are in place in Srinagar to prevent the protest march from taking place.
Separatists have been holding protests in the Valley for over a week now bringing Srinagar to a standstill as there is undeclared curfew in many parts. Hardline Hurriyat leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani was arrested and booked for allegedly encouraging violence.
