Sikkim Chief Minister Pawan Chamling has received an invitation to attend the India-Bangladesh Business Conclave to be held in Dhaka on August 23-24 next, official sources said.
Organised by the India-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the conclave is billed to focus on regional connectivity across South Asia and find ways for removal of bottlenecks in the free flow of trade and commerce.
The organizers, in their invitation letter to the Chief Minister, expressed confidence that his views would help in finding a new road map for strengthening economic relations between the two countries, the sources said.
