Aurangabad: A six-month pregnant woman was allegedly gang-raped by robbers, who looted valuables from several houses in Khedula Pati village in Parbhani district on Tuesday, police said.
Based on a complaint filed by the woman, police have arrested three of the four accused, an officer, who is part of the investigation, said.
The robbers struck Khedula Pati village on Pathri-Selu road early in the morning and allegedly attacked three villagers, the police official said.
"They then forcibly took the woman to the bushes and allegedly raped her in turns," he said.
The woman and the other injured have been admitted to Parbhani civil hospital.
A case under sections of Indian Penal Code has been registered at the Pathri police station, the officer added.
