Patna:
At least six people, including three children, were killed and five others went missing when a boat capsized in Bihar's Jamui district Saturday, police said.
The accident took place in Gahi Dam.
"Six bodies were recovered from the dam by villagers and five others are missing," a police officer said.
According to police, 16 people were on the boat when it capsized in the dam in Maoist affected Jamui, about 200 km from here.
Five people swam to safety, the officer said.
The district administration has sought the National Disaster Response Force's help in the search mission, disaster management department principal secretary Vayasji said.
