Muzaffarpur: Police today arrested a person for allegedly raping a six-year-old girl in Rasulpur village under Motipur police station of Bihar's Muzaffarpur district, sources said.
45-year-old mechanic Kamrul Hoda was nabbed from Motipur bus stand while trying to flee on bus, Deputy Superintendent of Police (Muzaffarpur west) Anuj Kumar said.
Police have registered a case against him with Motipur police station based on the complaint of the victim.
The six-year-old girl fell prey to Hoda while she had gone to a nearby field yesterday.
Police said further investigation in the case is on.
