New Delhi: A woman who works for ecommerce giant Snapdeal has been abducted on her way home near Delhi.
The employee, identified by some media reports as 23-year-old Dipti Sarna, left the Sanpdeal office in Gurgaon last evening. She usually took the metro home to another Delhi suburb, Ghaizabad, and would then take an auto to get to her house from the station.
Kunal Bahl, the Snapdeal founder, said the organization is working with the police to help locate her. A statement from the company, which is backed by Japan's SoftBank, added, 'We are extremely disturbed with the reported abduction of our team member. Her security and safety is our topmost priority."
