Jaipur:
Former BJP minister Madan Dilawar's son is among four people booked by the Rajasthan anti-corruption bureau in connection with the 'fake pilots' scam. Madan Dilawar was the Minister for Social Justice in the Vasundhara Raje government.
An FIR has been lodged against Pawan Dilawar for allegedly faking flying hours to get his Commercial Pilots Licence (CPL).
The flying hours were manipulated allegedly with the support of former chief flying instructor of Rajasthan Flying School, Mohinder Kumar, the chief flying instructor of Haryana Institute of Civil Aviation, Mahaveer Singh, and the Assistant GM of the Air Traffic Control (ATC) of the Sanganer airport, Manoj Jain.
The officials named in the FIRs have been booked in 13 similar cases and were arrested several months ago.
The anti-corruption bureau has so far lodged 17 cases against many officials and pilots in connection with the scam.
