Badaun, Uttar Pradesh: A teenage girl was allegedly gang-raped in Kadar chowk area in Uttar Pradesh's Badaun by three persons, including the son of a Samajwadi party leader, police said on Monday.
"The incident took place on the night of July 18 when Omendra Pal, son of SP leader Tekchand Pal and two others -- Narendra and Surendra -- allegedly abducted the 14-year-old girl and took her to a mango orchard and raped her," police said.
The girl later narrated the incident to her family members, who registered an FIR in this regard on Sunday.
The medical report of the girl has confirmed rape.
Superintendent of Police (SP), Anil Kumar Yadav said that one of the accused Surendra has been arrested while search is on to nab two others.
