New Delhi: Congress President Sonia Gandhi has expressed concern over the disappearance of a helicopter carrying Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S R Reddy and is monitoring the developments.
"The Congress President is concerned," party spokesman Manish Tiwari told reporters on the disappearance of the helicopter in Andhra Pradesh, an hour after take-off from Hyderabad on Wednesday morning.
Describing the situation in Andhra Pradesh as that of "crisis", he said Gandhi and her office are monitoring the developments.
The Congress president hopes and prays that Reddy is safe and would return to work soon, he said.
