New Delhi: Congress President Sonia Gandhi today condoled the death of Manipur Governor Syed Ahmed, recalling his long innings in public life.
He will be missed by the people for a long time to come, she said in her message.
Mr Ahmed passed away this morning in Mumbai. He was suffering from cancer and had been admitted to Lilavati Hospital in suburban Bandra last week.
