New Delhi: Congress President Sonia Gandhi went to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences today for a routine eye check up at the Rajendra Prasad Centre for Opthalmic Sciences.
Mrs Gandhi, 66, who had recently been taken to the AIIMS after she had complained of chest pain, has been facing some problem with her eyes.
It was a routine check up, said the doctors who attended the Congress President.
Mrs Gandhi was taken to AIIMS on Monday night when she complained of chest pain while she was in Parliament participating in the proceedings of Lok Sabha, which was discussing the Food Security Bill.
The Congress President underwent various tests before being discharged after five hours in the wee hours of Tuesday.
