New Delhi: Another cash for votes controversy could be brewing in Mumbai.
Samajwadi party leader Abu Azmi filed his nomination from Mumbai North west and Samajwadi activists were seen distributing cash on their way to the Collectors office in Bandra.
This money was being distributed at the Kherwadi junction near the collector's office.
People scrambled to pick up the money as it was thrown as SP caps and flags were seen all around.
Abu Asim Azmi's brother Saeed Azmi was seen distributing cash as his brother headed to the Mumbai Suburban Collector's office along with party leader Amar Singh and Jaya Bachchan to file his nomination papers.
"I don't know anything about it. There is no question of distributing money," responded Anu Azmi when asked whether he knows that his brother has been caught on camera distributing money.
