Special CBI Court Allows Indrani Mukerjea To Sign Cheques For Daughter Vidhie

Vidhie, Indrani Mukerjea's daughter with her former husband Sanjeev Khanna, was present in the court today.

Mumbai: The special CBI court in Mumbai today allowed Indrani Mukerjea, the prime accused in the Sheena Bora murder case, to sign some cheques for meeting the educational expenses of her daughter Vidhie.
     
Special judge HS Mahajan allowed an application moved by Ms Mukerjea in this regard.
     
Vidhie, Ms Mukerjea's daughter with her former husband Sanjeev Khanna, was present in the court today.
     
As soon as she arrived, Ms Mukerjea hugged her and started weeping. The two had a long conversation and when they parted, Ms Mukerjea was heard saying "take care", to which her daughter said "you too".
     
The court also extended the judicial custody of Ms Mukerjea and the co-accused Sanjeev Khanna and her former driver Shyam Rai till January 16.
     
The judge rejected Mr Khanna's application for home food in jail, said his lawyer advocate Swapna Kode.
     
CBI today provided advocate Kode with some pages of chargesheet which were missing from the copy given to him.
    
Sheena Bora (24), Ms Mukerjea's daughter from another marriage, was murdered allegedly by Indrani Mukerjea, Sanjeev Khanna and Rai on April 24, 2012.
     
Ms Mukerjea's husband and former media baron Peter Mukerjea (59) too has been arrested in the case.
