The founder of Art of Living Foundation, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, has met Kashmiri separatist leader Mirwaiz Umar Farooq. The two had discussed the prevailing situation in Kashmir.
The meeting took place at the Srinagar home of the Mirwaiz on Saturday. After the meet, Sri Sri tweeted:
Sri Sri has also met with Jammu and Kashmir Governor NN Vohra and Deputy Chief Minister Nirmal Singh on Saturday.
Sources said Sri Sri has been meeting various stakeholders every time he visits Kashmir. Earlier, he had met separatist leader Sayed Ali Geelani in the wake of the Amarnath land row in 2008.
