Kakdweep: Seven pilgrims have died including a child and at least 14 others are injured at Kakdweep in a stampede in West Bengal during Makar Sankranti celebrations on Thursday morning.
The injured have been admitted to Kakdweep hospital.
The stampede took place while the pilgrims were boarding a jetty to Gangasagar in South 24 Pargans where the Ganga meets the sea.
