Jaipur:
Habib Hussain, who hid in a toilet on an Air India Haj charter flight from Saudi Arabia to return to the country, was remanded in six-day police custody.
The stowaway was produced before a magistrate in the city, who remanded him in six-day police custody, SP (Jaipur- East) B G Joseph said.
He was arrested here last night and booked under Passport Act. Preliminary interrogation has not revealed any intention to cause any harm, a police source said in Jaipur.
Hussain will be produced before the court on January 2, 2010 after the remand, the SP said.
He hailed from Moradabad in Uttar Pradesh and was working as a cleaner at Medina airport with a Saudi ground handling company. He managed to board the flight without ticket and passport on the pretext of cleaning it.
