A Class XII student allegedly committed suicide by consuming poison after failing in his board exams at Rai village in Muzaffarnagar district, police said.
21-year-old Nitin committed suicide on Friday as he was reportedly depressed after failing in his exams, they said.
In another incident, a 14-year-old girl attempted to kill herself by consuming poison due to some family dispute at Goharni village in Shamli district on Friday, police said, adding, she was rushed to a hospital in a serious condition.
