Ranchi:
A college principal was killed by a student in Jharkhand's Gumla district on Wednesday, police said.
Shashi Bhushan Prasad, the principal of the Kartik Oraon College, was killed with a sharp-edged weapon in his office.
The student attacked Mr Prasad on his neck following which the principal was rushed to a hospital where doctors declared him dead.
The student has been arrested.
In another incident, Chamu Purty, a priest, was killed by suspected Maoists in Khuti district on Tuesday night.
According to police, the priest was shot dead by unidentified men while he was asleep.
