New Delhi: A 15-year-old school student was crushed to death by a Blueline bus in the Capital early Monday. The bus driver fled the spot, even as angry pedestrians pelted stones at the bus, police official said.
The victim, Aditya Jain, was a student of Class 9. The accident took place in east Delhi's Shastri Park area.
"The accident happened at 8 a.m. this morning. The boy died on the spot while the driver of the bus immediately fled the spot," a police official said.
The bus number was 213-A.
"The locals who saw the accident pelted stones at the bus and broke the windows," the official added.
