Some 50 students were pulled to safety in a dramatic rescue after their school bus was almost completely submerged in a flooded underpass in Rajasthan's Dausa.
The underpass had been flooded by two days of incessant rain.
This morning, a school bus drove right into it and was almost completely under water, with only its roof visible. The students first climbed on top of the bus and were then helped, one by one, to safety by local people who handed down ropes. Some were carried by people who waded towards the bus.
