New Delhi:
The Supreme Court has dismissed a review petition against the 69 per cent quota in admission and jobs in Tamil Nadu.
In July this year, the apex court had allowed Tamil Nadu to have 69 per cent quota in admission and jobs for 2011 and directed the state approach TN Backward Classes Commission to determine the percentage of reservation on the basis of data available.
An NGO had filed a review petition saying the question of law was not decided by the court and there was error in the apex court's judgement.
The Supreme Court dismissed the review petition.
