New Delhi: On Friday, the Supreme Court rejected Vikas Yadav's bail plea. Vikas is serving life imprisonment along with cousin Vishal for the murder of Nitish Katara.
Earlier, he was granted custodial parole for 12 hours to attend the wedding of his sister Bharati Yadav on November 1.
Both Vikas and Vishal were convicted and sentenced to life imprisonment on May 28 last year for killing Nitish Katara in 2002, as they opposed Katara's intimacy with Bharti.
Nitish, an MBA, was the son of an IAS officer.
