Ahmedabad: In a major snub to the Gujarat administration, the Supreme Court has stayed the proceedings in an Ahmedabad trial court against 64 accused in bomb blasts in various cities.
The accused have alleged that they were arrested without any evidence by the Gujarat Police and they have been kept in jail since 2008.
They were arrested in connection with blasts in Delhi, Jaipur, Mumbai, Ahmedabad and Bangalore.
The petitioners said that they have no faith in Gujarat Police, so they wont get fair trail and they want cases to be shifted out of Gujarat.
