New Delhi:

Ramesh Kumar was to come to Trauma Centre at All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS) for urgent medical assistance but did not have a confirmed ticket in Dibrugrah Rajdhani, a Railway official said.

"His ticket was confirmed and he boarded the train at Jalpaiguri station yesterday. He was provided with the wheel chair and extended all kind of help all along the journey to New Delhi," said a senior Northern Railway official.
This morning, the train arrived at New Delhi station where Northern Railway officials arranged a battery operated vehicle and also a wheel chair to drop him upto the ambulance.
