
External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj taking oath as member of the 16th Lok Sabha in Delhi

External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj took oath as member of the newly-elected 16th Lok Sabha in impeccable Sanskrit on Thursday in Delhi.
The senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader was followed by party colleague Uma Bharti, union minister for water resources and Ganga rejuvenation, who also took oath as the MP in Sanskrit.
Their party colleague and Railway Minister Sadananda Gowda took his oath in Kannada and so did Minister of Chemicals and Fertilisers Ananth Kumar.
