Four students of an English medium school at Karve Road in Pune were admitted to city's Naidu Hospital for suspected swine flu.
Two of the students have been confirmed with swine flu while the result for the third is awaited. The cause is suspected to be a case of human-to-human transmission of the virus.
Last week, a boy from the same school had tested positive who had recently returned from the US. One of the suspected cases is said to be the younger brother of the same.
The health authorities advised the school to shut the entire class for a week, so that all students and their parents could be checked up.
Meanwhile more suspected flu cases have been reported in Delhi schools. All students affected are teenagers, out of which many had recently returned from Malaysia and Singapore. The three Delhi schools have been told to stay on alert.
