The tabling of the nuclear liability bill in Parliament has been put off by a week after strong objections from the BJP.
The bill was supposed to be tabled on Thursday, but at a meeting with Pranab Mukherjee, top BJP leaders said they could not be rushed into the issue.
Pranab Mukherjee had called the meeting with the BJP leaders to end the deadlock over the controversial bill.
