New Delhi: Union Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar will meet chief ministers of states on the sidelines of the security meet in the capital on Monday.
The Centre has released a first share of the calamity relief fund for Assam, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand and Manipur. All these states have been severely affected by drought.
Pawar is expected to have a series of meetings this week on tackling drought in the states. While he will meet state chief ministers on Monday, he will meet state food and civil supplies ministers on Wednesday and state.
