Dehradun:
Former Andhra Pradesh Governor N D Tiwari, who resigned under the shadow of an alleged sex scandal, defended himself on Monday.
"These allegations are baseless and false. These days even talking to a woman is looked down upon. This allegation is 100 percent wrong," 86-year old Tiwari told reporters in Dehradun, blaming people associated with the Telangana statehood agitation for being involved in a consipracy against him.
Tiwari resigned on Saturday on "health grounds", in the wake of a raging controversy after a sting operation by an Andhra TV channel purportedly showed him in a compromising position in Raj Bhavan - with three women.
