Tiruvallar, Tamil Nadu: Thirty two people have been killed in a fire accident at a cracker godown in Tamil Nadu's Tiruvallur district.
The accident occurred at Pallipattu, which is close to Andhra border.
According to the police sources, 40 people were believed to be present in the godown at the time of the accident. Twenty badly charred bodies have been pulled out of the godown, which was a wholesale point of firecrackers, police sources said.
The cause of the fire could not be ascertained immediately.
This is a tragic incident on the eve of Diwali, which will be celebrated across the country on Saturday.
