PM Modi is addressing seven rallies in Assam over two days.

For the second consecutive day of his campaign in Assam, Prime Minister Narendra Modi focused on the development mantra, claiming the Congress' Tarun Gogoi government has "broken the heart of the people" by failing to deliver.
"Assam was previously among the best states. Now it is in list of the least developed," he told the people at a rally in Rangapara in Assam's Sonitpur district. "This state has given you a lot of love, Gogoi, trusted you, but you have broken their trust, broken their dreams."
The BJP has high hopes of a big victory in Assam, where the Tarun Gogoi government is seeking a fourth term.
Though illegal immigration from Bangladesh has been the main plank of the BJP in this election, the Prime Minister focused on the governance issue in the state -- which ranks among the worst three states in India in terms of rural employment.
"15 years of governance, huge amount of money allotted for Assam. Where did the money go?" PM Modi questioned.
The state government, he said, had not use up the funds the Centre had allotted for the development of the state. "Where did the money go? If you vote for them, ask where they spend the money," he told the people.
Only one-third of the Central allocations money have been used, the "rest still remains in their account," he said. .
Repeating the personal dig at Chief Minister Gogoi, the Prime Minister, who turned 65 last September, said, "We are taught to respect elders. You'll soon turn 90. Why would I fight with you? You should probably bless me and not talk about fights." Mr Gogoi will be 80 years old in April.
The BJP is contesting 91 seats in Assam's 126-member Assembly. The party has given 24 seats to its ally Asom Gana Parishad, while the Bodoland People's Front and two small parties will be contesting on the remaining seats.
